Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oenomaus Doctore (ranked 1477 p4p, 177 weight class) and Don Juan Matus (ranked 1252 p4p, 151 weight class). Doctore comes into the arena with Metallica - blaring out of the sound system. Matus has chosen Crow Spirit as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doctore is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

and Doctore counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Matus thinking.
Matus bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Doctore's head backwards.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Doctore crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Matus - the referee stops the clock and Doctore gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Matus. Doctore manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Doctore is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Matus.

Well Matus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
