Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Diaz (ranked 3876 p4p, 458 weight class) and Jacob White (ranked 3401 p4p, 422 weight class). Jacob White will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jacob White!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Diaz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Oh Diaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheers as White lands an impressive looking overhand right. Diaz doesn't seem phased though.

Diaz has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

White has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
White throws out a loose jab but Diaz uses good head movement to avoid it.

White lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
