PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Reinhard Heydrich (ranked 2344 p4p, 306 weight class) and Jules Caesar (ranked 1717 p4p, 226 weight class). Heydrich's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Blonde Beast. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caesar dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Heydrich. That did some damage!
Heydrich misses with an uppercut. Caesar saw that one coming.
Caesar let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Caesar lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Heydrich has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Heydrich and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A nice side step and Caesar releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Heydrich connects with a right hand. Caesar shakes it off.
Caesar takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Heydrich feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Caesars jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The crowd cheers as Caesar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Heydrich doesn't seem phased though.

Heydrich throws a nice looking combination but Caesar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Caesar replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Heydrich blocks it well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Caesar scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Heydrich to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

Caesar connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Oh Heydrich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Caesar connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Heydrich onto his butt! Heydrich bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Caesar dances in with a quick combination. Heydrich is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Caesar snaps Heydrich's head back. Heydrich stumbles backwards against the ropes. Caesar steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Heydrich's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Heydrich just didn't come prepared.
