Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo De Lima (ranked 1425 p4p, 1623 weight class) and Adam Johnson (ranked 165 p4p, 180 weight class). De Lima comes to the cage accompanied by Linkin Park - Numb. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Adam Johnson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.

Johnson misses with a takedown
and De Lima counters with a right hand to the body.

Rodrigo De Lima has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Johnson.

Johnson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. De Lima avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

De Lima will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johnson shoots in but no luck this time.
De Lima throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The fighters circle momentarily. De Lima darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Johnson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and De Lima dives on top into guard.

Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Johnson has gone for a leg lock! De Lima slips out almost immediately though and dives into Johnson's guard.


Johnson has his foot on De Lima's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. De Lima works his way back into a safe position though.

De Lima tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.
De Lima pushes down on Johnson's leg and manages to get into half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Johnson throws his legs up looking for a submission but De Lima uses it to pass to side control.
De Lima is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Johnson's shoulder. That is not cool.
Johnson stops De Lima from passing to mount.
Johnson manages to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnson is defended easily by De Lima.
De Lima throws a big counter combination but Johnson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

De Lima tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Johnson is trying to drag De Lima to the mat but De Lima just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

De Lima batters Johnson with a massive right followed by a huge left! Johnson is out on his feet looking like a zombie as De Lima lands a final crushing right hand to drop Johnson to the mat with a gruesome thud! De Lima is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rodrigo De Lima!
