Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Snowdon (ranked 1234 p4p, 512 weight class) and Alonzo Trotter (ranked 182 p4p, 84 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, William Snowdon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 19 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alonzo Trotter!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.

Trotter digs a good body shot into Snowdon's ribs.
Snowdon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Trotter.
Trotter appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

William Snowdon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Trotter tries to close the distance and clinch but Snowdon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Trotter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Snowdon throws a leg kick but Trotter sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Snowdon throws an overhand right that lands on Trotter's shoulder, as Trotter tries to avoid the shot.
Trotter throws a hook to the side of Snowdon's head but Snowdon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Snowdon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Trotter changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Trotter lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Snowdon gets through Trotter's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Snowdon throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Trotter goes for a takedown in the clinch but Snowdon prevents it.
Snowdon swings wildly with an uppercut but Trotter uses good head movement to avoid it.

Trotter has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Snowdon is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Snowdon is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Trotter tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Snowdon is able to avoid easily.

Trotter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Trotter has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Trotter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trotter wants to control but Snowdon is keeping him busy.

Trotter is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Snowdon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Snowdon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Trotter can do to turn this around?

Trotter is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Snowdon defends it well.

Snowdon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Trotter pulls his head out easily.

Trotter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Trotter is looking for a kimura but Snowdon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Trotter to get the leverage.
Snowdon is staying active underneath Trotter, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Snowdon is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Trotter is tapping! Great win for Snowdon!

A relieved looking William Snowdon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Alonzo Trotter was interviewed post fight and said 'Sorry dudes'.
