Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jalaluddin Aziz (ranked 2377 p4p, 3920 weight class) and Joe Bailey (ranked 50 p4p, 81 weight class). Aziz comes to the cage accompanied by Dalshar Project - Afghan Rastaman. Bailey has chosen Go Hard Or Go Home as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

With a record of 27 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Bailey!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bailey connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Aziz momentarily.

It seemed like Bailey was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Aziz fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Aziz takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Aziz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Aziz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bailey avoids the body shot from Aziz.

Jalaluddin Aziz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Aziz counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Aziz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bailey has escaped the position, nice work there.
You can see the frustration on Bailey's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Aziz wants to control but Bailey is keeping him busy.

The ground and pound from Aziz seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Aziz is looking to take a break and control but Bailey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aziz swings around for an armbar but Bailey sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Aziz's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bailey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Aziz.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jalaluddin Aziz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bailey bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Aziz's head.

Aziz shoots in for a takedown but Bailey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Aziz throws a poor cross that misses
and Bailey counters with a nice uppercut.
Aziz walks straight into a right hand from Bailey - that's dropped him! Bailey jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Aziz from any more punishment! Aziz complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
