Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Gilberto Chamba (ranked 4510 p4p, 96 weight class) and Tearrius George (ranked 24949 p4p, 151 weight class). George has chosen West Side Connection Bow Down as his entrance music. Tearrius George told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chamba looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
George doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
George looks to land a combination but Chamba avoids it well.
A right-left combo lands from George.

It looks like Gilberto Chamba has been cut.
Chamba checks a low kick from George.
Chamba tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
George lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
George takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Tearrius George has been cut.
George throws a series of strikes that have Chamba backpedaling.
A telegraphed right hand from George misses the target.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chamba throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
George replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Chamba blocks it well.
George throws a push kick but Chamba slaps the foot to one side.

No joy there for Chamba, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Chamba lands a front kick to the face, that drops George to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!

That has opened up Tearrius George's cut even more.
George moves out of range of the body kick.
Chamba misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from George.
Chamba tries to clinch up but George circles away and keeps his distance.
George looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Chamba gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Chamba counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps George thinking.
A telegraphed right hand from George misses the target.
George throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chamba sees it coming and avoids it easily.
George misses with a few strikes there.
Chamba connects with a right hand. George shakes it off.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
George takes a shot right to the bread basket.

and George cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
George uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chamba.
Chamba's jab looks to have found its range, popping George under the eye.

The cut above Tearrius George's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Chamba throws a jab but it's blocked by George.
Chamba tries to clinch up.

Chamba throws a front kick aimed at George's knee but George avoids it well.
George looks to score with a jab to the body but Chamba is just out of range.
Chamba is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from George.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
George lands a body shot.
Chamba slips a jab and a cross from George.
Chamba tries to clinch but George is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tearrius George's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tearrius George's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
