Conner drops Johnson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Johnson looks back up at him and smiles so Conner waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Conner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Johnson, pushing him back against the cage.
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Conner digs a right hand underneath Johnson's ribcage. Johnson let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Conner pushes Johnson against the cage. Conner is working some dirty boxing. Conner pushes off with a quick right hook! Johnson goes down! Johnson tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Conner moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sammie Conner!
Sammie Conner spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
