Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yasol Kim (ranked 4033 p4p, 17031 weight class) and Ryan Brophy (ranked 193 p4p, 142 weight class). Yasol Kim had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yasol Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Brophy!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Topper Green and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brophy checks the leg kick.
Brophy throws a quick inside leg kick.
Brophy takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kim cracks Brophy with an open hand slap.
Kim takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Brophy clobbers Kim with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kim gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Brophy counters with a stiff right hand.
Brophy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kim.
Kim throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Brophy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kim closes the distance and clinches up with Brophy, looking for a takedown. Kim pushes Brophy against the cage but Brophy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Brophy appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Brophy lands a slapping body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kim shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brophy as he avoids it easily.
Kim tries to land a front kick but Brophy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kim throws a series of punches but Brophy avoids them all with ease.

and Kim cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kim has one foot on Brophy's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Brophy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kim has time to react.
Brophy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kim sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brophy somewhat.
A quick step to the side and Kim tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kim throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

That was a close round but I would say that Yasol Kim will probably get the nod.
