Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Caio Victor (ranked 1573 p4p, 4178 weight class) and Marshal Mayhem (ranked 177 p4p, 373 weight class). Marshal Mayhem will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!

Victor fails with the takedown
and Mayhem counters with a right hand to the body.
Mayhem connects with a good right hand that stumbles Victor. Victor circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Victor takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mayhem misses with a hook. Victor ducked under it nicely.
Mayhem uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Victor has time to react.
Victor takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Victor throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Victor's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mayhem connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Victor scrambles back to his feet.
Mayhem avoids a punch combination nicely.
Victor defending well as Mayhem loads up on a big left hand.
Victor bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A shot to the liver by Mayhem. Beautiful body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mayhem moves out of range of the body kick from Victor.
Victor throws a big shot that misses.
Victor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Victor attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Victor ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mayhem cracks Victor with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Victor gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Mayhem fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Victor manages to avoid it.
Mayhem cracks Victor with a right hand to the side of the head.
Victor looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Mayhem keeps the fight on the outside.
Mayhem lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Victor takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Mayhem's coach down at Island Sparring was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Mayhem's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Victor is looking to clinch but Mayhem is avoiding it.
Mayhem throws an off balance right hand
so Victor counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Mayhem is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mayhem really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Victor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Victor forces his way into half guard.
Victor is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mayhem has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Victor is working away from the top position though.
Victor is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Mayhem is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Caio Victor!
