Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Robert Grandis (ranked 673 p4p, 1290 weight class) and White Blood Cell (ranked 43 p4p, 76 weight class). Blood Cell has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.

Blood Cell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grandis swivels and escapes.
A punch lands to the side of Blood Cell 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Blood Cell dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

and Grandis counters with a thumping low kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Grandis. Blood Cell does a little dance to reset his feet.
Blood Cell fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Grandis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Blood Cell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Blood Cell lands a leg kick that knocks Grandis off balance momentarily.

Blood Cell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Grandis manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Blood Cell has Grandis in his guard.
Blood Cell is looking for a triangle but Grandis pushes his legs off easily.
Grandis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Blood Cell's guard.

Blood Cell has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Grandis is working away from the top position though.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Grandis smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Grandis has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Blood Cell finds it's way round the side to connect with Grandis's head.
Blood Cell lands with a nice combination. Grandis backs away looking to recover.

Grandis is looking to wear down Blood Cell with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Grandis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nice uppercut lands for Blood Cell. That snapped Grandis's head back.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Grandis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blood Cell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Grandis has managed to get both his arms back between Blood Cell's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Grandis has his hands clasped together but Blood Cell extends and breaks Grandis's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Blood Cell.
