Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bam King (ranked 4899 p4p, 5105 weight class) and Austin MacDougal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Austin MacDougal!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.

King throws an overhand right that lands on MacDougal's shoulder, as MacDougal tries to avoid the shot.
King looks to land a right hand but MacDougal moved out of range.
King wants to clinch up but MacDougal keeps it at a distance.

King gets caught flat footed, as MacDougal shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
MacDougal is in close to King's body, working some short punches and elbows.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as MacDougal controls the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King is pushing MacDougal's head away, looking to escape. MacDougal manages to hold on to the position though.

MacDougal connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused King some visible discomfort.
King takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
MacDougal is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
MacDougal cracks King with a big right hand but King just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
King on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if King tries to get out of the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King is trying to escape the position but MacDougal is controlling the position.

MacDougal content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Austin MacDougal dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

MacDougal ducks down and throws a hook to the body but King moves away.
King works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
King throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around MacDougal's waist but MacDougal gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing King off to one side.
MacDougal wants to counter the offense by King and move into the clinch position.
Bam King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

MacDougal is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in King's half guard.
MacDougal looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks King with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

MacDougal got a little sloppy there for a moment and King has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, MacDougal has managed to get both his arms back between King's legs - danger averted.

MacDougal is working King over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Austin MacDougal showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
