Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Calixto Cardona (ranked 2028 p4p, 1511 weight class) and Lee Sang Seok (ranked 222 p4p, 175 weight class). Seok is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ides Of Light - Jucifer. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Seok takes a jab right on the kisser.
Cardona takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cardona connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Seok's hands.
Cardona misses with a hook. Seok ducked under it nicely.
Cardona tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Seok lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Cardona lands a big head kick that sends Seok tumbling to the mat! Cardona takes a step backwards and waves Seok back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Seok takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Seok uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cardona.
Seok has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Cardona ducks right into an uppercut from Seok.

Cardona jabs Seok right on the nose. Seok blinks but takes it well.
Seok throws the left hand but Cardona avoids the punch easily.
Seok uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cardona.
Seok connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Seok scores with a jab. Cardona acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Seok scores with a sloppy right hand. Cardona should have avoided that one.
Seok seems to have recovered his senses.
Cardona takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cardona attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Cardona tried to counter with a leg kick but Seok avoided it.
Seok tests Cardona's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Seok connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Cardona dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Seok. That did some damage!
Seok throws a leg kick but Cardona sees it coming and moves out of range.

And Seok tries to counter it with a takedown but Cardona pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Seok uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cardona.
Cardona lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Seok shoots in looking for a takedown. Cardona tries to sprawl out of it but Seok keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cardona manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A slapping leg kick lands for Seok.
Nice defenses there by Seok.
A punch lands to the side of Cardona 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Cardona loads up on a big right hand but Seok slips the punch.
Cardona checks the leg kick nicely there.
Cardona throws a body shot but no joy.
Cardona throws a body punch but Seok moves out of range.
Seok uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cardona.
Cardona lands with a kick to the ribs.
Cardona ducks under a wild hook from Seok.
Seok does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A little feinted left hand from Cardona on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Seok misses with a looping right.
Cardona lands the left hand.
Seok cracks a nice hook into Cardona's ribs.
Seok catches Cardona with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Cardona is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Cardona pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Cardona lands a big head kick that sends Seok tumbling to the mat! Cardona takes a step backwards and waves Seok back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Seok throws a hook to the side of Cardona's head but Cardona sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Seok connects with a single shot there.
Cardona lands a big head kick that sends Seok to the canvas! Cardona follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Calixto Cardona!
Calixto Cardona decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
