Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kron Kai (ranked 151 p4p, 442 weight class) and Daniel Orndorf (ranked 25 p4p, 62 weight class). Orndorf has chosen Wrecking Ball - Andrew Baena as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

A big right from Orndorf misses.
Orndorf throws a right and a left that Kai avoids nicely.
Orndorf moves out of range of the body kick from Kai.

Kai takes the fight into the clinch.
Orndorf lands a nice uppercut.
Kai swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Orndorf swings wildly with an uppercut but Kai uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kai lands a hook that snaps the head of Orndorf backwards.
Kai misses with a short punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Orndorf wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kai lands a body punch.
Kai blocks a body shot from Orndorf.
Kai throws a head punch that misses.
Kai lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Orndorf tries to work over Kai's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kai fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kai is struggling to control the position.

Orndorf breaks from the clinch.
Orndorf throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kai sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kai clobbers Orndorf with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Orndorf swings for the body but Kai moves out of range.
Kai lands with a cross.

It looks like Daniel Orndorf has been cut.
Kai lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kai.
Orndorf throws a body shot but no joy.
Orndorf tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kai is able to avoid easily.
Kai catches Orndorf with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Orndorf is rocked!
Orndorf throws a hook but Kai avoids it easily.
Orndorf is still on wobbly legs! Can Kai finish him?
Kai fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Orndorf is out of range.
Orndorf seems to have recovered his senses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Orndorf tests Kai's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Orndorf missing with a left hand there. Kai was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Orndorf swings widly with a right hand

and Kai counters with a crisp right hand that drops Orndorf! Kai lets Orndorf back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Kai circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Orndorf tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Kai wins by KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kron Kai!

Kron Kai tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
