Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William Spud (ranked 78 p4p, 71 weight class) and Lamont Banner (ranked 10 p4p, 9 weight class). Spud comes to the cage accompanied by Havana. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Spud misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Banner .
Spud throws a nice outside leg kick.
Banner scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like William Spud has been cut.
Spud tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Banner tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Spud smiles and moves away.

Spud swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Banner doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Spud uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Banner .
Spud is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Banner .

Spud tries to move into range but Banner moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It seemed like Banner was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Spud is looking to counter the offense by Banner and move into the clinch.

Spud lands a nice looking body kick.
Banner has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Spud throws a half hearted mid kick.
Banner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Spud manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Spud lands an overhand right.
Banner misses with an uppercut. Spud saw that one coming.
Banner takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Spud thows a left - swing and a miss!
Banner 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Spud connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Banner scrambles back to his feet.
Banner is rocked!
Spud fakes the body blow, causing Banner to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Banner goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
