The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rios is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Moore is just riding it out for now. Rios eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Rios tries to close the distance and clinch but Moore swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rios changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moore tries to avoid it but Rios manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moore to the ground. Moore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Adam Rios seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Moore gets caught napping as Rios dives in and scores a takedown. Moore manages to retain guard.
Rios wants to control from the top but Moore keeps moving.

Rios will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rios drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Moore manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rios has Moore in his guard.

Adam Rios overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Rios escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moore gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rios working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moore doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rios is tightening it up a little... Moore has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Moore reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Moore taps out! Nice BJJ there by Rios!
