A looping hook to the body misses from Burger. Makoniko does a little dance to reset his feet.
Makoniko tries to counter by clinching up but Burger breaks away and moves out of range.

Burger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Burger dives in for a single leg takedown but Makoniko sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Makoniko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Makoniko misses the jab.
Burger dodges the punch combination from Makoniko.
Burger is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Makoniko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Makoniko wants it to stay on the feet.

Burger shoots for a takedown but Makoniko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jace Makoniko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boby Burger.

Makoniko was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Makoniko stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Burger has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Makoniko manages to get his head free but now Burger has transitioned to an armbar! Makoniko grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Burger! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
