Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ken Irrawaddy (ranked 2462 p4p, 5116 weight class) and Sergei Ulatov (ranked 298 p4p, 507 weight class). Irrawaddy comes to the cage accompanied by Laos Rules!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Ulatov!

We've been hearing that Irrawaddy has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Ulatov has momentary wrist control but Irrawaddy slips an elbow through the middle.

Ulatov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Irrawaddy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Irrawaddy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ken Irrawaddy will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Ulatov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Irrawaddy's half guard.

Ulatov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Irrawaddy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ulatov.

Ulatov is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Irrawaddy is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
