Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Devin Hill (ranked 5809 p4p, 6659 weight class) and Gary Porter (ranked 490 p4p, 526 weight class). Gary Porter has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Darius Henderson and Steve Erwin.

Hill tries to bum rush Porter with a series of wild strikes but Porter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Porter with the counter takedown but Hill avoids it easily.
Hill throws a nice looking combination but Porter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Porter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Porter lands in his opponent's guard.

Porter lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Porter connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Hill to escape the position.

We've been informed that Porter has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Porter is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Porter gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Porter gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Porter apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Hill is rocked!

Hill gets caught napping as Porter dives in and scores a takedown. Hill manages to retain guard.
Porter is working Hill over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hill tries to kick Porter off in order to stand up. Porter Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Porter connects with a couple of big shots that have Hill covering up! Oh, this looks bad for Hill! Porter fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gary Porter!
In defeat, Devin Hill stepped up to the mic, saying 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
