Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rikiya Goromaru (ranked 7224 p4p, 6088 weight class) and Phillip Terrell (ranked 523 p4p, 469 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Goromaru uses his free foot to push down on Terrell's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Terrell.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Terrell is controlling an arm, preventing Goromaru from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Goromaru shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Goromaru showed some decent athleticism there.
Goromaru seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Goromaru controlling the position well here. Terrell rolled but Goromaru kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Goromaru's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Rikiya Goromaru overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Goromaru wants to control but Terrell manages to buck him off and is now in Goromaru's guard! Nice work there by Terrell!
