CACC 104 PBP Commentary |
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 22 wins and 20 losses; Carlos Silverio! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 3 losses; Shane MacGowan!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Silverio clinches up with MacGowan and pushes him back against the ropes.
MacGowan gets control of Silverio's arms and successfully pulls guard. MacGowan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Silverio is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

MacGowan has the hooks in. Silverio is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Let's hope that MacGowan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
