Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Severo Del Bosque (ranked 2537 p4p, 2387 weight class) and Thai Boxer (ranked 281 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Bosque comes into the arena with Mimosa - Drippin blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thai Boxer!

A big right from Boxer misses.
Boxer has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Del Bosque is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Boxer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Del Bosque sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Del Bosque takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Del Bosque on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Del Bosque uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boxer.

Boxer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Del Bosque counters with a good, hard body kick but Boxer shrugs it off.

Boxer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Del Bosque can pounce on him.

Del Bosque does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
No joy there for Boxer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Del Bosque uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Boxer.
Boxer drops his hands momentarily and Del Bosque takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Boxer takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Del Bosque cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It seemed like Boxer was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Severo Del Bosque seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As Del Bosque backs off Boxer throws a huge counter combo but Del Bosque manages to avoid it all.

Boxer is rocked!
Del Bosque fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Boxer.
Boxer is still on wobbly legs! Can Del Bosque finish him?
Del Bosque misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Del Bosque throws a monster overhand right that drops Boxer! Del Bosque follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Severo Del Bosque!
A relieved looking Severo Del Bosque thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Thai Boxer spoke after the fight, saying 'Oh sh#t 🔥'.
