Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aloysius Wiremu (ranked 3246 p4p, 4396 weight class) and Red Cup (ranked 413 p4p, 516 weight class). Wiremu comes to the cage accompanied by Billy Joel - The River of Dreams. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Red Cup was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Cup loads up on a big right hand but Wiremu slips the punch.

Wiremu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wiremu avoids the body shot from Cup.
Wiremu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cup takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Cup scores with a jab to the body.
Cup throws a jab but it's blocked by Wiremu.
Cup rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wiremu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wiremu lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Wiremu closes the distance and clinches.
Wiremu keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cup's efforts to push away.

Wiremu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wiremu misses with a kick to the body
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Wiremu.
Cup misses with a double jab.
And Wiremu counters with a quick kick to the body but Cup blocks it.
Red Cup seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wiremu circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Cup drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Wiremu follows Cup to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
