Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between van chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Griffin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Forrest Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
chan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Griffin tries to avoid it but chan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Griffin to the ground. Griffin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
