Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Carter (ranked 22973 p4p, 3230 weight class) and Tevin Felix (ranked 745 p4p, 441 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Carter swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close second round but I would say that David Carter will probably get the nod.

The referee asks Felix politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Felix prefers to stall for the moment though.

Felix is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Carter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Felix wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Carter, who protects the arm well.

Felix tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Felix has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Carter takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Carter tries to escape but Felix is in control.
Carter tries to bench press Felix off him but Felix keeps the position.
Carter managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Felix.

Felix has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Felix thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
