Godoi lands a lovely overhand right.
Zbytovsky misses with a lunging right hand
and Godoi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Zbytovsky takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Godoi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Godoi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Zbytovsky pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Godoi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Godoi lands a left and a right that send Zbytovsky crashing to the mat, dazed. Godoi thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Jakub Zbytovsky has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zbytovsky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Godoi.
Godoi cracks Zbytovsky with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Zbytovsky falls to his knees and Godoi doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Guilherme Godoi!
A relieved looking Guilherme Godoi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
