Rodrigues tries to keep at a distance but Trejo has taken the fight into the clinch.

It looks like Cristiano Rodrigues has been cut.
Trejo cracks Rodrigues with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Trejo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rodrigues to stand back up!

Trejo scores with the left hand. Rodrigues knows he should have avoided that one.
Oh Rodrigues is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Trejo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Trejo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Trejo jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Trejo lands a big right hand that sends Rodrigues crashing to the mat! Trejo stays standing though and waves Rodrigues back to his feet!
Rodrigues switches off momentarily and Trejo cracks him with a monster right hand! Rodrigues topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Trejo dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Trejo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Danny Trejo!
Danny Trejo bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
