Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hanny Sledgehammer (ranked 3647 p4p, 2767 weight class) and Aloysius Wiremu (ranked 444 p4p, 350 weight class). Wiremu has chosen Billy Joel - The River of Dreams as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Sledgehammer has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wiremu.
Sledgehammer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sledgehammer throws a low kick but Wiremu avoids it.
Wiremu is looking to clinch.
Sledgehammer throws out a loose jab but Wiremu uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sledgehammer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Sledgehammer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wiremus jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Wiremu lands a nice hook to Sledgehammer's body. Sledgehammer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sledgehammer dodges the punch combination from Wiremu.
It looked like Sledgehammer was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wiremu.

Sledgehammer tries to bum rush Wiremu with a series of wild strikes but Wiremu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wiremu lands with a cross.

Sledgehammer throws a low kick but Wiremu moves out of range easily.

Sledgehammer lands a really nice looking cross but Wiremu seems unphased.
A punch lands to the side of Sledgehammer 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wiremu. Sledgehammer does a little dance to reset his feet.

Wiremu lands a big head kick that sends Sledgehammer tumbling to the mat! Wiremu takes a step backwards and waves Sledgehammer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Wiremu makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Sledgehammer really felt that one!
Oh Sledgehammer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sledgehammer is breathing heavily.
Sledgehammer walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Sledgehammer limp body while Wiremu jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
