This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Akaro Horiguchi! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 7 losses; Rolf Ottke!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Nice sprawl there from Ottke as Horiguchi shoots in.
Ottke tries to counter by closing the distance.

Horiguchi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ottke was covering up waiting for the punch and Horiguchi finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Horiguchi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Horiguchi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ottke is working away from the top position though.

As we have tied on points, we go to a tie breaker and Ottke gets a bonus point for attempting more subs.
