Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scooter Bob (ranked 2692 p4p, 2668 weight class) and Maxim Ward (ranked 389 p4p, 387 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

Ward working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bob doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bob manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ward looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Bob pushes past his half guard into mount!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ward ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ward no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Bob creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Ward with a big uppercut! Ward tries to clinch up but Bob pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Ward to the mat! Ward covers up and Bob unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
