Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Vargas (ranked 3052 p4p, 2586 weight class) and Leroy Jinx (ranked 430 p4p, 372 weight class). Vargas comes into the arena with a warrior's call blaring out of the sound system. Jinx has chosen What It's Like as his entrance music. Sergio Vargas has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

I was talking to Vargas's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Vargas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jinx connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vargas scrambles back to his feet.

Vargas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jinx has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Jinx walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Vargas drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Jinx swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Vargas's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
