Martynov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kagonbo's head.
Martynov takes a swing at Kagonbo's ribcage but misses.
Kagonbo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Kagonbo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Martynov on the side of the head.
Kagonbo throws a jab when Martynov was well out of range.
Martynov just misses with a punch to the body.
Kagonbo looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Mikhail Martynov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martynov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kagonbo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kagonbo is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Martynov misses with a looping right.
Martynov on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kagonbo. Kagonbo obviously looking to wear him down.
Martynov takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Martynov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kagonbo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Martynov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Kagonbo lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Martynov falls backwards - clearly groggy! Kagonbo dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Bismack Kagonbo decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
