Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Artur Osinen (ranked 1385 p4p, 2189 weight class) and Chrys Kyle (ranked 175 p4p, 275 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Osinen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kyle's head backwards.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kyle has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Kyle isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Osinen stacks Kyle on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Osinen!
Kyle manages to get back to half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Osinen connects with a nice short shot to Kyle's temple.
Osinen winds up and cracks Kyle with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Osinen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kyle connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Osinen scrambles back to his feet.

Chrys Kyle is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Osinen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chrys Kyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kyle! But no joy.
