Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Jakobe !
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.

Donk. Jakobe catches Alfinski right on the button with a cross.

It looks like Jerry Alfinski has been cut.
Alfinski thuds a left hand into Jakobe 's body.
Jakobe takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

John Jakobe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Jakobe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Alfinski uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jakobe .

Alfinski half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Alfinski shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Alfinski swings for the body but Jakobe moves out of range.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Alfinski throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jakobe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Alfinski tries to bum rush Jakobe with a series of wild strikes but Jakobe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Alfinski throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Alfinski lands a jab-cross combination.

Alfinski looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Alfinski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jakobe is trying to stand up here but Alfinski is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jerry Alfinski will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jakobe clobbers Alfinski with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Alfinski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jakobe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Alfinski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Alfinski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Alfinski takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

John Jakobe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Alfinski wants to clinch.
Jakobe connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Alfinski momentarily.

Jerry Alfinski's cut is getting worse.

Jakobe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Alfinski moves away.
Alfinski seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Jakobe feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Alfinskis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Oooooh!!! Jakobe has knocked Alfinski down with a huge combo! Jakobe steps away and waves a wobbly Alfinski back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Jakobe ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Alfinski's jaw. Alfinski's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Jakobe does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Jakobe !
John Jakobe seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
