Asai comes to the cage accompanied by Kaze Ni Nare. Yoshihiro Asai could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Zhang Jun's chin.

Asai throws a combination that misses

and Jun counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jun.
Jun jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Asai walks away with a smile on his face. Jun gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Asai misses with a body kick.
Jun cracks Asai with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A low kick lands for Asai .
Asai takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jun tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Asai manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Yoshihiro Asai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jun throws a jab but it's blocked by Asai .
Jun tries to clinch but Asai moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jun looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jun has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Asai uses from the top position.

Asai has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jun to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Asai is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jun pulls down on the head and he's put Asai to sleep! This one is all over!
