Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Beta Knox (ranked 1142 p4p, 1140 weight class) and Jorginho Marcelo (ranked 147 p4p, 146 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Knox might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Anthrax | Fight Em Till You Can't. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Marcelo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Beta Knox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorginho Marcelo.
Marcelo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Knox's waist but Knox gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marcelo off to one side.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Marcelo is on top in guard.

Knox has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Marcelo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Knox is punishing Marcelo with some ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Beta Knox.
