Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howlin Wolf (ranked 862 p4p, 730 weight class) and Rick Piano (ranked 104 p4p, 85 weight class). Piano is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rick going ham on a bitch. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Piano tries to move into range but Wolf moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Piano darts in and clinches Wolf up against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Wolf.

Wolf is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Piano pulls him back up using the underhooks.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Piano creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wolf swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Piano 's corner calls for a 1-2. Piano obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wolf feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Piano s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

A nice side step and Piano releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Wolf closes this distance looking for a takedown but Piano circles away.
Piano fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wolf.
Piano moves out of range as Wolf throws a body kick.
Piano misses the shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Piano dips to his left and cracks Wolf with an uppercut!
Piano ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Piano replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Wolf blocks it well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Piano fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Wolf square on the jaw! Damn, Wolf is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

After the fight, Rick Piano was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
