This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 4 losses; Ono Kuronoa!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and William Peck.

Brah turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Brah manages to end up in side control.

Brah working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Kuronoa felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Brah goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kuronoa turns into him and now he's in Brah's guard.

Brah is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Elite Underground Training Facility that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Brah got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kuronoa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brah has managed to get both his arms back between Kuronoa's legs - danger averted.
Brah slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Kuronoa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brah swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kuronoa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brah doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brah manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kuronoa is looking to cinch up a triangle. Brah throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kuronoa's body to avoid the submission. Kuronoa has instead reached around Brah's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kuronoa arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 11:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ono Kuronoa!
