PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dro Qanar (ranked 926 p4p, 1455 weight class) and Jaycen Solo (ranked 139 p4p, 211 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Qanar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fight to Forget. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dro Qanar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jaycen Solo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.

Solo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Qanar but Qanar pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jaycen Solo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Solo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Qanar defends well and Solo ends up having to push Qanar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Qanar throws the left hand but Solo avoids the punch easily.

and Qanar counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Dro Qanar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaycen Solo.

Qanar drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Solo dives on top into guard.

Solo throws an elbow that misses. Qanar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Solo's guard. Nice move by Qanar!

Solo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Qanar's guard.

It looked like Qanar was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Solo shoots for a takedown but Qanar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Qanar lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Qanar moves in looking to clinch but Solo pushes him off.

Solo lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Qanar! Solo sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Qanar and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
