Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thoreaux AssKicken (ranked 2368 p4p, 4447 weight class) and Iain Reilly (ranked 316 p4p, 523 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think AssKicken might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Winds of Change. Reilly has chosen Dubliners - Fields of Athenry as his entrance music. Iain Reilly has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Reilly misses with a body shot.
Reilly drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Iain Reilly has been cut.
AssKicken bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
AssKicken appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
AssKicken misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Reilly.

AssKicken gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reilly is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
A lull in the action here as AssKicken stalls from top position.
AssKicken is working Reilly over with some ground and pound from side control.
AssKicken tries to move to mount but Reilly blocks the move with his legs.
AssKicken creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Reilly sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
AssKicken remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

AssKicken wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reilly keeps working.

We've been hearing good reports from AssKicken's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Reilly manages to work his way to half guard, despite AssKicken's best efforts.
AssKicken is keen to just control but Reilly is a slippery customer.
Reilly pushes AssKicken off looking to stand but AssKicken dives back in and keeps control.
AssKicken works his foot free and advances to mount.
Reilly is bucking up trying to escape but AssKicken cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

AssKicken tries to control but Reilly wriggling away.
AssKicken lands a big elbow.
AssKicken cracks Reilly with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Reilly is rocked!
AssKicken postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Reilly in real trouble here! The ref calls for Reilly to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
