Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Gracie throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A slapping leg kick lands for Curtis.
Gracie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Curtis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And Curtis counters with a quick kick to the body but Gracie blocks it.
Nick Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Curtis pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Curtis.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Curtis sprawls well. Curtis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.

and Curtis counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Curtis sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gracie decides to stand and escape the position.
Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Curtis.
Curtis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Curtis lands a nice looking body shot.

Gracie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Curtis is trying to defend but Gracie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Gracie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Curtis's head.

Gracie is working for a kimura but Curtis is defending it quite comfortably.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Curtis defends it well.

Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Gracie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Curtis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Curtis.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Curtis, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Curtis against the cage but Curtis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Curtis feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Gracie misses with an uppercut. Curtis saw that one coming.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Curtis pinned against the cage. Curtis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Darry Curtis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Gracie.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Curtis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
Gracie moves away from the strike by Curtis.
Gracie shoots in but Curtis avoids the takedown attempt easily.
It looked like Curtis wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Curtis looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range.

and Curtis counters with a leg kick.
Curtis is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around?

We've been told by Curtis's head coaches at Rivers Edge Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Curtis counters with a huge left! Gracie is in big trouble! He's backing up but Curtis isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Gracie from any more damage. A dominating finish by Curtis!
