Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luis Maestre (ranked 1966 p4p, 1009 weight class) and Claudio Escorre (ranked 78 p4p, 37 weight class). Escorre has chosen Chico Science & Nação Zumbi - Da Lama Ao Caos as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.

Escorre misses with a series of wild punches.
Escorre fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Escorre on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Escorre looks to land a combination but Maestre avoids it well.
A lazy left from Maestre finds it's target.
It looks like Claudio Escorre has been cut.
Maestre jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Escorre lands a nice hook to Maestre's body. Maestre takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Maestre definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Escorre digs a good body shot into Maestre's ribs.
Maestre throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Escorre doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
A looping hook to the body misses from Maestre. Escorre does a little dance to reset his feet.
Escorre rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maestre moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
As Escorre looks to move away, Maestre throws a big counter combo but Escorre just gets out of the way.
Maestre misses with a straight right.
Escorre misses the shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Maestre scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Maestre paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Escorre throws a right and a left that Maestre avoids nicely.
Maestre defending well as Escorre loads up on a big left hand.
Escorre tries to bum rush Maestre with a series of wild strikes but Maestre uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Maestre is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Escorre missing with a left hand there. Maestre was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Maestre thows a left - swing and a miss!
Escorre is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Maestre.
Maestre loads up on a big right hand but Escorre slips the punch.
Maestre lands a big right hand that sends Escorre crashing to the mat! Maestre stays standing though and waves Escorre back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maestre avoids the body shot from Escorre.
Maestre lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Escorre head around and knocks him out cold! Maestre hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Luis Maestre!
After winning the bout, Luis Maestre thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Claudio Escorre stepped up to the mic, saying 'I swear I didn't expect you to have that beast inside you. I want my rematch against this brave fighter as soon as possible.
