PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Andrianov (ranked 4102 p4p, 3204 weight class) and Jon Snitch (ranked 501 p4p, 420 weight class). Snitch has chosen I Wanna Rock as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Andrianov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 26 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snitch!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.

Snitch throws a series of punches but Andrianov avoids them all with ease.
Snitch scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Andrianov misses with a wild body shot.
Andrianov moves into range and connects with a jab.
Andrianov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Snitch to counter with a crisp jab.

You can see the frustration on Andrianov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

I was talking to Andrianov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

That's time! Andrianov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Snitch has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Andrianov finds it's way round the side to connect with Snitch's head.

Snitch tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Snitch drives through with a takedown into Andrianov's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Snitch just misses with a elbow thrown towards Andrianov's brow.

Andrianov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

And Snitch tries to counter it with a takedown but Andrianov pushes his down on his head and steps out.
