Blaydes scores with a nice body kick.
Garvey jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Garvey walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Blaydes checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Blaydes stalks Garvey and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Garvey's face. Garvey staggers backwards, shaken.

A quick step to the side and Blaydes tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Blaydes counters with a big right hand! Oh Garvey is in trouble here! Blaydes follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Oscar Blaydes spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
