Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donald Trumpet (ranked 419 p4p, 679 weight class) and John Ruth (ranked 57 p4p, 89 weight class). Trumpet's entrance music is For Heavy Metal we will die!. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Trumpet thumps Ruth with a low kick.
Trumpet misses with a kick to the body
and Ruth counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Trumpet throws out a loose jab but Ruth uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ruth throws an overhand right that lands on Trumpet's shoulder, as Trumpet tries to avoid the shot.

Ruth changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Ruth throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Trumpet was covering up waiting for the punch and Ruth finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Trumpet seems to be working for a kimura but Ruth defends the submission attempt.

Trumpet frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Trumpet wants to finish this one by submission but Ruth is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Trumpet.

Trumpet is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ruth.

Trumpet does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ruth throws out a counter right but Trumpet avoids it with no problem.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Donald Trumpet spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
