Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 1850 p4p, 2278 weight class) and Joe Bailey (ranked 20 p4p, 25 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jiu Jitsu by Smoke Serpent. Bailey has chosen Go Hard Or Go Home as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Bailey throws a big shot that misses.
Gracie appears to be looking for a big counter.
We've been told by Gracie's head coaches at Rio Fight Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Gracie went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Bailey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie.

It looked like Gracie was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Bailey throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gracie throws a big counter combination but Bailey scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Gracie walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Joe Bailey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bailey throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Gracie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bailey.
Bailey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie.
Bailey works the jab nicely.
Gracie walks straight into a right hand from Bailey - that's dropped him! Bailey jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Gracie from any more punishment! Gracie complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
