Thomas lands with a nice combination. Barboza backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Bento Barboza has been cut.
Barboza closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Thomas misses with the combination.
Barboza throws the left hand but Thomas avoids the punch easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thomas. Barboza does a little dance to reset his feet.
Thomas fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Barboza looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Thomas throws a series of punches but Barboza avoids them all with ease.
Thomas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barboza.
Thomas lands a nice shot that snaps Barboza's head back.

Thomas definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Barboza ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thomas moves away.
Barboza tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thomas swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Thomas scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Barboza throws out a counter right but Thomas avoids it with no problem.

Barboza steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Thomas.

Still in the clinch, Barboza scores with a nice short uppercut.

Barboza creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Thomas crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Thomas face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Barboza takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
