Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abayomrunkoje Oni (ranked 3040 p4p, 3720 weight class) and Edward Folayang (ranked 353 p4p, 427 weight class). Folayang has chosen Goodnight as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abayomrunkoje Oni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edward Folayang!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.

Folayang ducks right into an uppercut from Oni.
Folayang misses the jab.
Oni misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Folayang connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Abayomrunkoje Oni has been cut.
Oni lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Edward Folayang has been cut.
Oni tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Folayang was well out of range. Poor timing from Oni.
Oni connects with a single shot there.
Oni throws a push kick but Folayang slaps the foot to one side.
Oni stalks Folayang and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Folayang's face. Folayang staggers backwards, shaken.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Oni misses with a head kick.
Oni will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oooh a lovely combination from Folayang sends Oni down but not out. Folayang dives into side control looking to finish.
Folayang working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Oni's coaches at The Scrap Squad have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Oni sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Folayang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Oni is just riding it out for now. Folayang eventually gives up the hold.
Folayang is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Folayang is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Folayang seems to be looking for submissions.
Oni wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Folayang is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Oni is not content to let Folayang control the position.
Oni knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Folayang on the ground.
Oni wants to control but Folayang is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oni is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Folayang is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Folayang is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Oni defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oni is pulling down on Folayang's head. It's preventing any offense from Folayang, at least for the moment.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Oni is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Oni manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Folayang manages to get himself to full guard.
Folayang is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Oni gets to his feet. Folayang looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Oni scores with a leg kick.
Oni throws a combination. Folayang tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Abayomrunkoje Oni is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Oni connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Folayang momentarily.

Oni lands a big right hand that sends Folayang crashing to the mat! Oni stays standing though and waves Folayang back to his feet!
Folayang is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Oni circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Folayang drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Oni follows Folayang to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abayomrunkoje Oni!
