Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Military Industrial Complex (ranked 914 p4p, 1036 weight class) and Shi Fu Tu (ranked 113 p4p, 123 weight class). Complex's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rusty Cage - Johnny Cash. Fu Tu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Klendathu drop kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Shi Fu Tu has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Military Industrial Complex's chin.

Complex throws a jab but it's blocked by Fu Tu.
Complex has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Complex drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fu Tu sprawls and moves away.

As Fu Tu backs away, Complex returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Fu Tu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Complex's hands.

Fu Tu has momentary wrist control but Complex slips an elbow through the middle.
Fu Tu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Complex gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fu Tu is trying to hold Complex in close to prevent damage but Complex has managed to pass into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fu Tu gets full guard.
Complex not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Fu Tu looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fu Tu lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Fu Tu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Complex works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Fu Tu wants to control from the top but Complex keeps moving.

Complex working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fu Tu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fu Tu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fu Tu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Complex has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fu Tu should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Complex has tightened it up now! Fu Tu should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
