Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Link Gaetz (ranked 173 p4p, 107 weight class) and Heavy Rain (ranked 26 p4p, 14 weight class). Rain has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Heavy Rain will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Gaetz tries to close the distance and clinch but Rain swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rain tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gaetz is able to avoid easily.
Gaetz seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Gaetz throws a lazy right hand but Rain sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rain thuds his right hand into Gaetz's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Gaetz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gaetz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Rain bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gaetz's head backwards.

Gaetz feints and then cracks Rain's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rain down.

Both fighters circling a little - Rain finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Rain displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gaetz throws out the jab.
Rain was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Rain has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Rain is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rain drops Gaetz with a beautiful combination! Gaetz stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rain is looking for the KO!

It looks like Link Gaetz has been cut.
Rain is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Gaetz flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gaetz is out cold! Rain holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Heavy Rain tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
